Dr. Zogby is joining CORE as a comprehensive orthopaedic sports surgeon. He has spent most of his life, education, and surgical training in San Diego, and is dedicated to this community. His clinical practice primarily consists of arthroscopic and open surgery of the knee, shoulder, elbow and hip, as well as general orthopaedic trauma surgery. He is enthusiastic about providing individualized, evidence-based care to patients and athletes of all ages and levels.
Dr. Zogby attended the University of San Diego, where he graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then earned his M.D. at UC San Diego, followed by internship and residency at UC San Diego. Dr. Zogby has performed clinical research in femoroacetabular impingement, laboratory research in rotator cuff tissue regeneration, and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations. Dr. Zogby underwent additional, post-residency training at the Dale Daniel Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Kaiser San Diego, where he performed a high volume of arthroscopic and open sports surgeries of the knee, shoulder and hip. He has provided sideline team physician care for the San Diego Sockers as well as multiple local high school and collegiate football teams.
