Dr. Samir Damani is an internationally recognized cardiologist with over 15 years of experience in treating arterial and venous disorders. He was one of the first cardiologists in the nation to combine traditional medicine with the use of digital health and genomic technologies for the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease.
Today, Dr. Damani is considered a “change agent” because of his holistic approach to healthcare. When creating a tailored treatment plan, he takes into account a patient’s genetics, family history, lifestyle, and life goals.
Dr. Damani also brings significant scientific rigor to his clinical practice given his experience in directing multimillion-dollar NIH (National Institutes of Health) sponsored research grants and having published dozens of peer reviewed articles and book chapters on cardiovascular disease. He has served as a scientific advisor for Science Translational Medicine, and a reviewer for leading scientific journals Nature Genetics, Annals of Internal Medicine, American Journal of Cardiology and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
